The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) was founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C. Any woman 18 years or older regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnic background is eligible for membership. Georgia Daughters welcome you to join DAR!
Florida State Society
With more than 11,000 members of the Florida State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (FSSDAR), the Florida State Society, DAR, website. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization that was founded in 1890.
Delaware State Society
The Delaware State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is the largest most active lineage-based service organization. Delaware is a small state but we have six very active, vibrant chapters. The Delaware daughters join with chapters across the nation to encourage and promote the mission of this organization.
California State Society
California Daughters invite you to discover how you can join the DAR. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background able to prove lineal descent from a Patriot ancestor who provided aid to the cause of independence in the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. California State Headquarters Glendora, CA As a member of our nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s service organization, you enter a network of nearly 10,000 women throughout California who form lifelong bonds of friendship; honor their revolutionary ancestors; and promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism in their communities. Daughters in California logged over 1,000,000 hours of service from 2016-2019.
Wyoming State Society
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), founded in 1890, is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot, is eligible for membership. There are currently ten chapters located across the 97,818 square miles of Wyoming.
West Virginia State Society
The Naional Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is comprised of members who have a lineal descent from a person who aided in the formation of this country by performing military, civil, or patriotic service during the American Revolutionary War. Today, our organization has three goals: to preserve history; to promote education; and to promote patriotism.
Vermont State Society
Vermont State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (VSSDAR) is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization. The Vermont DAR was organized in 1892, and is still going strong with over 500 members. Our members contribute to our Veterans, our communities and our youth.
Utah State Society
The Utah State Society, Daughters of the American Revolution is an exemplary extension of NSDAR’s mission. Membership is open to any woman aged 18 or older who can prove direct lineage from an ancestor who contributed to American independence.
Texas State Society
Texas Daughters assembled March 26, 2024, at the Veterans War Memorial of Texas in McAllen to unveil a bronze statue of Gen. Bernardo de Galvez. James McHenry Chapter, NSDAR, in the San Antonio area, recently met at Paws for Purple Hearts, the first organization of its kind to offer Canine Assisted Warrior Therapy.
Tennessee State Society
The Tennessee Society Daughters of the American Revolution (TSDAR) is a nonprofit, non-political women’s service organization. Over 6,800 members in 94 chapters across the state of Tennessee are ready to help eligible women become members.
